ahhh it’s tiring! although it’s only for a few days but still.. it’s tiring.. more standing at expo tmr ( i only realised today that pple call girls there trade bunnies?? quite funny!)  .. only consolation is food provided for us. we even had chicken pie and ikea hot dogs today:):) ahhh.. good welfare.. but more targets to meet. kinda like the environment though cos the girls are frenly and the boss is cheery.. angmohs are always kind and they always let us off at 5 plus. haha.. okay i’m going to rest well and get a few hundred more leads tmr!!!

my birthday eve

today is my birthday! yay.. it’s now past 12.. i’ve reached the big 20:) met andy at clarke quay today for dinner.. yays..

andy brought me to CAFE IGUANA and its crowded so we had to wait for half an hour and i’m feeling super hungry:(

finally we managed to get a seat! sat outside by the river under the stars.. yay.. such a good feeling..

for starters we had chips and magaritas (peach flavour sweet and yummy) unlike andy’s bitter soursop magarita.. but he likes it somehow.. the piping hot chips are damn nice and i was alr half full after eating half the bowl..

our main dish.. chicken and beef burrito:) quite a nice taste though i dun usually eat mexican food.. it’s stuffed with meat, cheese, rice, beans and lots more.. definitely scrumptious but all the more SINFUL.. but i like it cos it’s dry and crispy, not oily at all and the chicken pieces are really fresh and soft.

Andy and I only managed to finish half of it and the waiter ended up asking us whether we liked the food or whether we were just too full to finish… haha. it’s nice la but cheesy stuff cant eat too much!

after our very full meal.. i was surprised with my very pretty birthday present and my very pretty birthday card:):)

Went for Shiseido makeover and photoshoot at tampines mall today!! here’s my brand new look!! i think i look like 30 years old!! cos of the curls and alllllll 😦

was feeling rather bored yesterday after waffle making.. so got all dressed up and ready to go out! went with fatty to ben and jerry’s first and had my yummy scoop of strawberry cheesecake 🙂 then it was walking aimlessly around boring orchard road.. cant believe how much we walked yesterday.. from cathay to far east and from far east back to cathay and going into every shop but without any purchases. yea.. i need to control! shant spend a single cent on useless stuff

had dinner at sushi tei.. guess wad. i’ve never eaten there in my life haha! i’m so suaku.. and i’ve never drank the whatever and anything drink before.. told my brother about such a drink and he didnt believe it exists.. oh my gawd.. anyway.. sushi tei is quite crowded even on a monday night!

anyway i seldom go to the back of orchard.. cuppage that side and yesterday i found many good eateries there! hehe.. now there are nicer things to eat at orchard! no more crystal jade or pasta for me!

Cogito

IT’s saturday night and I was invited to watch a play at the national library drama centre.. the name of the play is COGITO from philosopher Descartes’ famous proclamation – “Cogito, ergo sum” (I think therefore I am). He explores issues that deals with science..and human spirit.. maybe religion too.. haha.. many many relevant issues.  The whole play jus revolves around three women who share the same memories and the same name.. and how they piece together the past to find out who is the real woman.. that was once dearly loved by that man..

Thought provoking play.. I was thinking about it on my journey home.. these plays take a little reflection and thought. haha.. i doubt i was able to understand anything.. but thinking back.. I guess I finally managed to grasp at least the gist of the play:)

I’m tired.. going to sleep!
