INFECTION!!!
Infection is indeed a good movie that left me and my friends discussing it even after the movie ended. I was very puzzled as to what the motive of the movie was, especially till the end when the green blood became red and the red blood became green. wad the hell.. is the movie jus playing tricks on us, creatin illusions??
However, after pondering over the movie further, i realised that there is more to this movie. On the surface, the plot is seemingly simple- about an infectious virus spreading in a lousy hospital, leaving the staff scared stiff. it sets us into thinking whether the people really died because of an infection or were in fact, murdered by a single doctor on the pretext of his illusions. Fact versus illusion.. it is indeed infecting our subconscious minds…
Of course, there are other themes put forth by the movie that are related to gp. Medical ethics are challenged.. similarly topics like euthanasia and the sanctity of life are discussed… our thoughts and our subconsicous mind.. everything that we see are actually our individual perceptions and may not be reality. The use of the many mirrors in the movie also reminds us of the reflection that we see everyday- reflections of ourselves. It also shows us the evil and selfish nature of men.. that they would go to all means to achieve their aims, only for their sole benefits- definitly chilling to think of it.
This is a movie worth watching.. if u’re not scared by the horrifying and gross elements of course.. if not u’ll jus end up shutting your eyes for the rest of the movie =)

the chapteh story
haha. jus realised i haven post for quite a while… i actually prefer to sit in front of my television than in front of the computer.
The new resolution i have is to master chapteh. As libin and I walked past chinese high today, we forked out 25cents each to buy a chapteh and decided to try kicking it since we have not even touched a chapteh before. I have always wondered why chinese high boys like to kick chapteh so much, i mean, how much fun can a feathery little thing bring to these boys?
So libin and I walked back to the open space beside our classbench and decided to give it a try. Meanwhile, we see some boys from opposite our classbench kicking rather professionally, at least 10 times better than us. It was quite embarrassing for us cos WE ARE FIRSTTIMERS and obviously cant kick more than 2 times each. No matter how hard we tried we couldnt do those ‘stunts” that others could. After a while we realised that we picked more than we kicked, but we were adamant on mastering it. There were of course obstacles to our quest on achieving mastery. People like ling,ying would sit and laugh at us. humph, i’m sure that if they keep doing that while we kick chapteh, they’ll be fatter than us in NO TIME. hahahhaa.
So as the chapteh flew silently in all directions, libin and i decided… it was time to hone our skills to perfection… and we will.. heh heh..

watched “Be cool” today. it’s not exactly a flattering movie, but it’s definitely cool with the cool grooves and moves and the cool soundtrack. currently searching for christina milian’s believer. Here’s an excerpt of the lyrics:

the wedding date
the movie…
As you can see.. i’ve changed the title of this movie to “the boring wedding date” so obviously its a boring movie. The only consolation is the pretty dresses that the actress wear and the wedding gowns. if not it’s jus a slideshow of kissing scenes and more kissing scenes. haha. Watch this movie if u’ve watched the rest!
Feeling fat and flabby, i decided to hit the gym after the movie. The gym is built in such a way that it faces the swimming pool such that the swimmers can knock on the windows of the gym and stare at the pple on the treadmill. Similarly, gymmers can stare at the swimmers. I happened to be on the treadmill, running my lungs out. Then this atrocious couple swam right up to the window and started being intimate. I tried to close my eyes as they smooch each other, however, i din wanna trip and fall on the treadmill. was placed in a terrible situation- definitely yucky. luckily they swam away after a while. hahaha jus my luck.

hairbandified
This is quite surprising. I innocently went into livia to buy a thick white hairband and voila! my frens bought them toooo. and now even teachers wanna keep up with us. haha. wad i’m referring to is my teacher wanting one of those thick hairbands (refer to pictures below to see how thick it is =). hmm.. actually 2 teachers. cant imagine them wearing those hairbands and lecturing in the lt.. maybe we’ll wear it with them.. then we can be the joke of the century. Some teachers are actually as childish as us..
Teacher1: wow, u all are wearing your hairbands
Us: yup, nice not?
Teacher1: i like the white one, where u buy from?
Us: some hair accessories shop
Teacher1: okay i’ll go see. i wan the white one. my fren wans the light pink one
(haha.. thick and pink.. she’ll look like powerpuff girls)
Teacher2: *whines* wheres my hairband wheres my hairband..
Us: *faints*
Teacher1: help us by the hairband k, we’ll pay you
Us: ok
Wow.. so u see.. teachers also need something to spice up their life. life can get too boring, like our lives now.
