results

RESULTS GONNA BE OUT TMR!!!!!!!!! after a long long wait..yuckyuckyuckyuck. how dreadful. Shiying called me during work today and made me more scared. all the good luck wishes from pple in my office making me scared!!!!

we decided that if we didnt get A for maths we wud jump off the building together and tie a red string ard our wrists. HAHA!

our very belated vday date.. and we ate… pasta!

delicious yummy sweet tomato sauce! apparently the people who helped us take the photo thought we were jap. haha!

FRIDAY!! yipee. everyone kept reminding me that today’s friday.. but i stil have to wake up early for driving:( oh work was incredibly slack today. haha. i was talking all the time to this woman who sits beside me.. and she’s quite funny though she has an incredibly heavy work load she reaches home at 1 everyday!! and watches korean drama till 4 then come to work at 6. at first i was quite irritated with her because she kept stacking her stuff on my desk and make it cluttered and ugly. but now i realised.. that her job needs a lot of space because she has to prepare all the interest payments paper to send out to all the companies. haha! and i’m quite glad to help her clear her stuff and clear my table. so i’m no longer slack now! i have things to do!!!

and there were lots of food to eat. i din noe there were two pantries in the office. haven ventured out of my department. today i found out that there’s a dry pantry somewhere ard the end of the office. someone had ordered pizza hut and there were four big boxes untouched. so i took one big box back to share with everyone in my department.. yummy pizza..

and then i had cake for tea. there’s this malay woman who bakes real well and she baked two big cakes, blueberry and mango for everyone to eat. love her to bits! although she doesnt really talk to me.. but i can tell she’s quite nice…

cant wait to see my babes again!

Chingay

So, my plans for saturday.. went jogging in the morning!! sheesh i’m really lousy now.. i miss the times when i could easily clock a good timing in 2.4. now i’m like shit.. yucks!

after that went town for dinner! had pepper lunch which didnt taste very nice. it was too sweet and too salty! the result of too much sauce:(

i expected orchard to be crowded with pple because of the Chingay thingy but everywhere seemed quite toned down. and i couldnt really see much cos everyone was blocking me and we were standing so far away. saw some pretty costumes and performances but overall there wasnt any great atmosphere.. merely occasional cheers from the public.

then i saw the Chinese high band. oh! they were so distinct. they wore red uniforms and had hats with yellow feathers sticking out. make them look really communist.

decided there was nothing else to do.. so we went to watch movie! wanted to watch matchpoint but there were no seats so settled with fun with dick and jane which wasnt too hilarious but quite entertaining. there’s this crazy woman who laughs really loud and high pitch, sitting right behind me.

anyway the movie ended at 11 and we stupidly thought that the buses wud come by orchard road since the roads had opened by then. but for half and hour, there was no sight of my bus while other buses were aplenty. urgh eventually reached home at 1240… daddy waited up for me..

woke up early for driving. haven drove in weeks cos of CNY and now i can only afford the time to drive on weekends.. when there are super lot of L plate drivers.

came back to be greeted by a lion dance at my condo. the management has organised some cny celebration and every year there would be lion dance. the dancers looked young think prolly from some sec sch lion dance. quite professional.. quite interesting. as you know.. the lions wud peel oranges onto a red plate. i ate one slice of it and it had lion hair on it!! spat it out..

and then there was buffet. the cream puff and chocolate eclair was good.. the rest of the food wasnt so nice and i laoed yusheng for the first time this cny. there was lucky draw too! wasnt too lucky!! i suspect foul play hehehe..

there’s work tmr.. i’m looking forward to next weekend!!

Saturday thoughts

the weekend’s here!! it’s bright and cheery! but i haven made plans for today:(
talking abt work.. it really gets dreadful. i finished half a novel while working on friday. i think i’ll finish the other half on monday! i feel quite uneasy doing nothing actually when other pple are working their asses off! but nobody really cares abt me. when i first started work they didnt even want to know my name. neither did i ask for theirs. i was supposed to assist 2 colleagues i think, one of them quitting without even finding an alternative job. according to the other colleague some pple are quitting. anyway the two colleagues claimed they are too busy to teach me things so they just left me by myself..
and i took a two hour plus lunch break. their lunch breaks are either 12-1 or 1-2 but most pple go off at 1230 and dun come back till 2. so i always leave ard 12 plus and come back to see no one! no one to tell me wad to do! i have to constantly ask if there’s anything to do and all they do is just ask me to take a break. omg.. i cant stand slack life. minutes seem like hours..
oh well.. when its finally nearing 6 i was taught something.. something quite complicated i think i need a few days to understand.. and i HATE to check bookkeeping figures. they are so teeny weeny i think the font size is 5.
looked forward to meeting yings at orchard but to my horror she had to work ot. unlucky girl. and so i reached there and had to go home cos orchard was really crowded with all the Chingay things going on. they closed the roads!! how yucky and i couldnt take my bus. so i had to hop onto another bus and took like 2 hrs to get home.
anyway i found 2 new skirts lying on my bed. my mum bought new skirts for meee.. mostly to wear to work!! yay!! come to think of it.. my mum buys all my clothes for me. i dun really spend my own money to buy anything. HAHA. i haven spent a single cent of my salary yet!! still living on my november’s pocket money. haha. mummy doesnt give me any pocket money
now:( i’m gonna save to buy myself a car when i get older. i MUST buy my own car.
okay i’m going out to run soon. can only do that on weekends now.. how sad!

bai nianed at mdm fok’s place! really nice to see the class again and all the bald guys haha… the next time we meet again will be to get results!! damn scary!

workkkk

first day at work!! i’m dead tired. guess how long i take to get home.. 2 hours! sat on the bus.. almost puked and died. got out at raffles place station early in the morning and everyone else was rushing to their workplace. all the pro pple. while i reached there super early and sauntered towards the “george building”.. then stopped by the security guard there and had to surrender my ic for this pass. so troublesome! i have to carry the pass everywhere if not i’ll be trapped even in the toilet cos u need a pass to get in and out. yup i was trapped outside the workplace cos i didnt bring along my pass!!

the office was really big. there were many many deparments. like those pro pple who sit in rooms and get involved with the stocks and investments. and the rooms were opaque. cant peep. so i dealt with figures the whole day. and the figures were in billions right down to the 0.0000 cents. i hope i didnt make any mistakes.

ohh and i met another girl like me. a temp staff in the same department!! she’s from vj and she says i look like some councillor from hc from some angles! but i never heard of that councillor’s name before..

actually today was damn slack.. i plan to try out all the food in raffles place. lunch was at this hawker centre near some goldenshoe carpark.. weird names la but the food was good. had to queue for 15 min. the girl and i decided that we should only eat from stalls that have queues.

practically had nothing much to do the rest of the day. my colleagues asked me to go to the pantry to drink coffee and read newspapers. isnt that wad Dads do?

watching tab tv now. tab tv freaks me out.. seriously. watched the episode abt plastic surgery last week.. all the grosteque skin and botox injections gone wrong. yay america’s next top model next!!! then it’s off to bed!!!
