first day in glasgow

hi guys.. i am in glasgow!! drinking soup for breakfast now.. soup tastes like water. orange juice tastes like tomato juice. i have classes almost everyday but they are jus like 2 hr classes. food’s pretty ex around here.. i eat sandwiches every other day and 1 sandwich costs 6 bucks =( okay i will update with more photos when i have proper internet access. you guys can call me.. 0194407523609777 =) its like 30 cents per minute. worth it to call me right!

yummy food at some japanese place near sch.. and great company too! look at the juicy tomatoes.. they jus burst into ur mouth.. sour tomatoes and salty bacons! i’m going back there again when i come back!

half of shaydes.. weird place to take photos but this is at a sports hall where the cheerleading olympiad is taking place.. freaking crowded.. blocked by all the tally guys.

gosh.. we saw someone we knew dancing with a bulging stomach.. she looks skinny but lovehandles ard her waist..!!

had a super early reunion dinner with my family at furama on sunday. can u believe it?!?! i wun be in singapore for chinese new year. all the red packets forgone jus like that. and i’ll be lonely up north in scotland. GOSH.

lets cast away all unhappy thoughts for now. for its a great reunion dinner, at a great price! okay i hope this is the only year i’ll miss chinese new year. its such a great festive season!!

this is a damn long ago photo but i’m blogging about it cos my blog’s dead. that day was such an unlucky day. because we didnt decide properly where to eat.. we ended walking up and down the streets of chinatown aimlessly (at least we had dim sum in mind). but then again, we are greedy and we wanted to eat buffet.. so DIM SUM BUFFET! wad can be better than that. so we took a bus and a long arduous walking journey to mirarma hotel for dim sum buffet. lo and behold it was 1pm and the person told us it was full! so we had to take a trip back to chinatown and ate at some UNfamous dim sum place.

luckily there was singing after that which lightened up our moods. despite not eating buffet, we were damn full and couldnt sing properly.. but still.. it was quite a cool day.. and MR chris suggested going to play paint ball soon which i kindly condemned. its pain ball indeed.

everyone’s started school.. nus starting sch too. i’m like a bored ass girl stuck at home.. sick and everything. oh i bought a new bag!!! =) its huge. i can put like my laptop in and there’s still so much space!! yes.. after searching so many places i finally bought my bag. i was trying to search for a bag that can sling too but everyone’s telling me that sling makes ur bag heavier! how true is that!! i thought slinging will make u feel that the load is lighter.

my sickness is getting nowhere. i’m now planning to go see some cheap doctor.. have no more money to spend.. and later perhaps pack my luggage.. and go out with shiying. this girl drives around! damn cool =)

rc outing

RGS/RI RC outing on saturday=) long time since i last saw my year mates.. and annie, dior and others couldnt make it. we had this pact.. to meet at esplanade in 10 years time. so we would be 26 by then=).. bringing our fiances along.. wad cute thoughts.

then met MR andy for dinner=) as usual couldnt decide wad to eat.. and he was insisting on food republic hokkien mee.. but i’m having a sore throat and am going to fall really sick soonnn and i wanted to eat porridge!! but in the end i still succumbed to fish and chips at taka. still i insisted on eating some non-fried fish but there werent any.. even the salmon is like fried in batter!! okay.. no choice.. i peeled off the skin and jus ate the fish.. urgh..

nothing much to see in town.. wanted to buy a pair of jeans from zara.. because. i have no jeans and i have to wear jeans in scotland.. at least have 1 pair.. maybe the same one everyday lol.

ohh and i spent like 500 bucks on winter wear le.. still need to buy boots and other stuff.. my luggage is full but mum insisted that its not!.. theres only clothes in my luggage and i haven put in all the other stuff like a mini cooker.. cutlery! and we even have to bring our own rice cooker!

okay so now i’m officially sick.. felt lethargic the whole day=( all because of fish and chips and other sinful food i ate at east coast.
